HEY! SOOHOH
Where rest and art live together
An art space in Star Park, Jeongja-dong, Bundang, where works by emerging artists fill the wall.
About
We want art to feel easy here. Drop in for a coffee, and somewhere between sips a painting catches your eye — that is the kind of place this is.
A Greeting from the Director
SooHoh Gallery
A new space created by SooHoh Gallery (director Lee Ji-soo), part of Jeongja-dong since 2008.
2008
SooHoh Gallery opens in Jeongja-dong — a first step toward lowering the threshold between art and everyday life.
2009
The SooHoh Artist open call begins, discovering emerging artists regardless of genre or CV — sixteen editions and counting.
Every year
The SooHoh Sharing Love charity exhibition returns each year — keeping art alive and sharing its love.
Today
HEY! SOOHOH opens its doors — a new space where paintings and tea keep each other company.
Good Samaritan House
The café's drink concentrates and snacks come from Good Samaritan House, a self-reliance shelter for migrants and refugees run by the Sisters of Perpetual Help, where residents craft each product with care.
Exhibitions
Here the work comes before the name. Emerging artists, chosen on their art alone, meet their audience on this wall.
